Orlando, Florida and Houston, Texas – April 2, 2024 – Metris Global (“Metris”), a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business specializing in advanced human performance technology solutions for government agencies, announces the appointment of Hope Hunter as Executive Vice President of Client Relationship Management.

In her new role, Ms. Hunter will leverage nearly two decades of distinguished experience in business development and strategic partnerships to drive Metris’ expansion efforts both domestically and internationally. Reporting directly to Metris Chief Executive Officer Thomas Heckens, Ms. Hunter will spearhead initiatives aimed at developing and capturing opportunities that expand Metris’ operational footprint across CONUS and OCONUS regions.

HMs. Hunter has demonstrated exceptional analytical prowess and an unparalleled ability to build and sustain strategic relationships throughout her career. Her tenure in both government and commercial sectors is marked by a series of notable achievements, including liaising between Congress and key agencies such as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection to secure vital funding for critical operations. Her track record of federal contract negotiation and management underscores her ability to deliver results in complex and dynamic environments.

Ms. Hunter received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from the University of Dallas Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business.

The appointment of Ms. Hunter to the newly created executive vice president position is the most recent in a series of strategic additions to the company’s leadership team designed to support Metris Global’s ambitious expansion plans and amplify its commitment to awakening the extraordinary in human performance and delivering innovative solutions to its clients. In late 2023, Metris Global welcomed Tony L. Barker, PhD as Chief Operating Officer and Timothy L. Haws as Director of Human Performance Technology.

Mr. Barker joined Metris after 20+ years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serving in a variety of leadership positions with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) including acting as the primary CBP representative to the Department of Homeland Security and the White House. Mr. Haws is a retired Captain with the United States Coast Guard Captain (USCG) and was appointed to the position of Director of Human Performance Technology after three years in contract positions with Metris Global as the Lead Training Performance Analyst at the USCG Leadership Development Center in New London, Connecticut, and as the USCG Modern Ready Learning Virtual Site Lead.
