Orlando, Florida – November 28, 2022 – Metris Global (“Metris”), a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, committed to delivering the most effective, most comprehensive array of organizational and human performance improvement solutions, announced this week the relocation of its global headquarters to Orlando, Florida, and its acceptance into the University of Central Florida (UCF) Business Incubation Program.

The UCF Business Incubation Program offers help for growing businesses throughout Central Florida, stretching from Daytona Beach to Kissimmee. The program specifically targets companies with the ability to scale in size, adding jobs to the local region. In addition, the program specializes in helping businesses looking to expand or relocate to Central Florida.

“We have experienced steady growth since our founding and have built incredibly valuable relationships within the services of the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security,” said Thomas Heckens, CEO of Metris Global.  “As we continue to grow and expand our services, however, it became increasingly clear that Orlando was where we needed to be. Becoming part of the Team Orlando community, along with our acceptance into the UCF Business Incubation Program, will play an important role in our company’s future growth.”

Founded in 2011, Metris Global is dedicated to helping its clients achieve an extraordinary level of individual and organizational excellence. The company’s Advanced Agile Performance Improvement methodologies are scalable to ensure improved work performance and outcomes – no matter how complex the environment, or mundane the task. As the prime contractor for the United States Coast Guard Training and Analysis Support Services (TASS) contract, currently serving servicemembers at eight Coast Guard bases coast-to-coast, Metris has proven experience supporting all branches of the military including several divisions of the Department of Defense.

“Metris Global is a significant addition to our hub of businesses who are focused on providing modeling, simulation and training services to our military and other customers,” says Carol Ann Logue, director, programs & operations, Innovation Districts & Incubation Program, University of Central Florida. “One of their strengths is their extensive work with the U.S. Coast Guard to provide training and support services. Metris bringing that relationship and connectivity to the local community presents tremendous opportunities for the region.”

In conjunction with the company’s move to Orlando and its membership in the UCF Business Incubation Program, Metris will be exhibiting, booth 2491, at its first Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), November 28 – December 1, 2022.
